Folly

Collaboration with Alice Francis

We filled an architectural folly with the charcoal remains

of the surrounding forest. The forest had been recently 

clear felled and burned by the anonymous owner.

A month later we made a long funereal pyre with charcoal

remains and set it alight, echoing the Foot & Mouth burn

pits seen throughout the UK landscape at the time .
